On May 15, 2021-16, Shanghai maritime university port channel and coastal engineering 18th 102 students in full-time teachers Tang Peng Yang Fangmei, zhang jie, ting-ting ma and counselor led to the Yangtze river waterway bureau canal project in nanjing and Shanghai nanhui residue in dongtan given the N1 reservoir engineering emergency professional cognition practice laps around the project. Yangtze River Nanjing Waterway Engineering Bureau Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Project Department and Shanghai Nanhui Dongtan Project N1 Reservoir Area Intake Engineering Project Department provided a warm reception for this professional practice link.
On May 15th, the teachers and students went to the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Project Department of Nanjing Waterway Engineering Bureau of the Yangtze River for professional practice, visited the project department's living area, laboratory, slab and beam prefabrication plant and the construction site of Yongsheng Road Bridge. The students learned about the steel bar processing technology and the construction technology of T-shaped precast beam in the slab and beam precast field. The technicians at the construction site of Yongsheng Bridge introduced the structure, construction technology and construction difficulties of the bridge to teachers and students in detail.
That afternoon, the project department organized a professional understanding forum. Technicians demonstrated the project contents of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. Wang Xuehua, the project manager, shared her work experience. Bi Zongbing and Jiang Xuechao, ministers of Human Resources Department of Yangtze River Nanjing Waterway Engineering Bureau, respectively introduced the enterprise culture, enterprise recruitment information and process, future career development plan and other contents, and answered the students' concerns about the professional development prospects and employment of ports and waterways.
On May 16th, the teachers and students came to Nanhui Dongtan Engineering N1 reservoir area to learn about the project. The on-site engineers and technicians explained to the students the composition of the hydraulic structure, the layout of the high pile wharf, the loading and unloading process of the port and the operation method of the mound treatment.
Through this practice, students visited and studied in the front line of the Engineering Project Department, and had close contact with the possible future working environment, which strengthened the specific understanding of the future work direction and content of harbor and shipping major students, and played an important role in guiding students' career planning.
