In order to strengthen the cognition and understanding of the major of the grade 2022 freshmen, improve their sense of identity of the major, and clarify their future learning and life goals. On December 1, 2022, the Environmental engineering Major of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering launched the professional cognition education for the undergraduates of Grade 2022. Mr. Lv Baoyi, Dean of the Department of Environment, gave a lecture. Full-time teachers Ding Yi, Yin Fang, instructor Lei Mengyu and all new students of Environmental Engineering attended the meeting.
First of all, Mr. Lv Baoyi made a detailed introduction from four aspects: professional overview, teaching staff, scientific research and talent training. Then, Ms. Lu introduced the employment prospects from various aspects by combining the theory of lucidness and lush mountains are gold and silver mountains with the characteristics of environmental engineering. Finally, Ms. Ding Yi and Ms. Yin Fang talked about the historical construction of environmental engineering and the employment situation, which enhanced the students' professional and cultural confidence.
Through the professional cognition education, the students have strengthened their confidence and increased their recognition of the major. Just like the teachers' message, All the way forward, live up to your youth, the future is promising!
