At 17:30 on February 19, 2023, College of Ocean Science and Engineering undergraduate Class 2020 held the first theme education late call of this semester in Bangjian Lecture Hall, presided by Counselor Xu Ling and attended by all students.
The theme of this education is Strengthen ideals and beliefs, Start again, and the education is centered on career planning. Mr. Xu pointed out that the students of Grade 2020 have entered the second semester of their junior year, and one of the most critical tasks is to make a detailed and clear career plan for themselves and make clear their future development direction. Mr. Xu said that whether you choose to further your study after graduation or get a job directly, you should make a choice based on a comprehensive, full, detailed and objective analysis and understanding of yourself. You should combine your ability, interest and expertise, and carefully choose a path that suits you deeply and firmly. Then, Ms. Xu gave a general introduction of different post-graduation destinations such as postgraduate entrance examination, employment, overseas study and public entrance examination, which provided ideas for students to carry out self-exploration and thinking. Secondly, Mr. Xu stressed the importance of professional learning to everyone. The homework in the second semester of the third year is still not easy. I hope all students can keep a tight spirit, and conscientiously finish each class with a highly responsible attitude. At the same time, in addition to busy study, we should also do more physical exercise, to maintain a good physical and mental state.
Through this theme education, students gradually began to think about their career planning. The new semester has begun, new challenges are also ahead, I believe that all students will come up with the best mental outlook to meet the future road!
