From February 27 to March 1, the teachers and students of the Department of Shipbuilding, College of Ocean Science and Engineering completed their first off-campus internship since the epidemic in three years. The teachers and students and enterprise experts all showed great enthusiasm. Under the leadership of the class teachers, Mr. Liu Guangzhong and Mr. Yu Qiang, the graduates of Excellent Engineer Grade 19 of Marine engineering went to visit and practice in Hudong Zhonghua (Group) Shipbuilding Co., LTD., which is located near Huangpu River.
On the morning of 27th, Deng Bo, Vice minister of Human Resources, introduced in detail the development history, current mainstream products, future development plan and talent training of Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding Company. Ms. Zhang Xiaohui and Ms. Dong Hang respectively gave lectures on safety management and confidentiality education of the shipyard. After the lectures, the students visited Hudong China Exhibition Hall, Training Center and LNG simulation cabin.
On the morning of 28th, Mr. Xu Lingfeng, deputy chief of the Planning Section of the second Assembly Department, gave a lecture on LNG ships and introduced the latest manufacturing process and technology of LNG ships in detail. And answered the students' questions.
On the afternoon of 28th and 29th, engineers Li Bo and Xu Jun of the company led the students to visit the first-line processing workshop of ship plate and hull section in groups. The two teachers introduced the manufacturing process of ship plate frame structure and hull section in simple terms by combining their professional knowledge of ship structure and hull strength.
On the morning of March 1st, Mr. Yu Hongchang, the skills leader of Shanghai-East China, gave a lecture on Shipbuilders can make great achievements. Mr. Yu Hongchang has worked in Hudongzhonghua for more than 40 years and has won more than 60 kinds of honors. He has solved one technical problem after another for the enterprise. His innovative technology has saved a lot of steel, talent and other resources for the country. In the lecture, Mr. Yu Hongchang explained the connotation of the craftsman spirit of a great country to the teachers and students in plain language, and gave students spiritual inspiration for their career development. On the afternoon of the 1st, the students visited the section production line of the shipyard and saw with their own eyes all kinds of large-scale equipment and production process of steel processing.
Through this graduation internship, students have a more comprehensive understanding of the latest technological development of LNG ships, enhance the sense of identity of the major, have an intuitive understanding of the production and construction technology of ships, and in-depth learning of the craftsman spirit of a great country.
