On April 19, the second session of the Clerk and Dean Lunch meeting of the School of Ocean Science and Engineering was held as scheduled. Feng Daolun, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, and Guo Jiamin, vice president attended the event.
At the lunch meeting, 6 freshmen from different majors spoke freely and deeply with the teachers on research planning, employment direction, doctoral choice, after-school life, time arrangement and other issues. The teachers also gave sincere and effective suggestions based on their own study and work experience. The whole exchange was relaxed and pleasant, the atmosphere was harmonious, and the young students gained a lot.
Dean Feng Daolun sent a message to young students to return to the beginning of learning, learning is to improve ability, education is to better realize the all-round development of people, to abandon the utilitarian mind of graduate school, but also encourage students to develop sports habits, strengthen physical exercise, the body is the capital of the revolution, no good body is not good to do research.
The lunch exchange meeting between the College of Ocea Science and Engineering and the Dean of the Secretary is the fundamental task of the college of Marine Science and Engineering to carry out moral education and cultivate people, adhere to the working method of the mass line, practice the concept of people-oriented, and actively set up a face-to-face interaction platform between young students and college leaders, aiming to further narrow the psychological distance between teachers and students. Establish a long-term mechanism to accurately serve the growth and development of students. On the one hand, it enables students to listen closely to the instruction and answer doubts, and participate in the college governance. On the other hand, it also enables college leaders to listen closely to the aspirations of young people and timely solve the actual needs of students.
