On April 25, Mr Ding Yi, a part-time teaching instructor of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, guided the College's Haiyun Youth Practice team to prepare for the summer social practice activity of Survey of a thousand enterprises and a hundred Hong Kong through an online meeting. Mr. Ding offered three specific suggestions to the practice team members: (1) specify the division of labor and functions of the team members, give full play to the teamwork spirit, form a joint force in the investigation planning and practice exploration, and promote the orderly progress of the work; At the same time, according to the schedule and time node, the work will be sorted out on schedule to lay a solid foundation for better promotion of high-quality research in the future; (2) In the process of carrying out summer practice activities, attach importance to the exploration of shipping spirit and history and culture, through ceasing red ship spirit, clear the development context for shipping power, find scientific connotation, promote the grand ambition of Chinese shipping people, promote the development of maritime and shipping power; (3) In order to support the early realization of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the shipping industry is moving towards the direction of green and low carbon. Shanghai also takes green and low carbon as the criterion in the process of building an international shipping center. It is hoped that the students will focus on new technologies, methods and processes in green shipping, scientific shipping and intelligent shipping during the research process, so as to provide new ideas and methods for the prosperity of shipping industry.
The students said that they would further refine the work arrangement and consolidate the research foundation according to the suggestions provided by Mr. Ding, conscientiously carry out the work in each stage according to the practice plan, think and summarize frequently, constantly optimize the learning way, expand the practice idea, and gather their hearts to implement the summer social practice project well.
