On November 18, Mr. Ding Yi, secretary of the Party Branch of Environmental students of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, convened some students of environmental majors to carry out work discussion and exchange activities of organized scientific and creative practice teams. Mr. Ding first introduced the basic situation of team construction in the recent stage: Through the communication bridge built by the Party group and the freshman talk, many students hope to join the professional science and innovation practice team jointly set up by the Department of Marine Environment and the student Party branch, carry out organized science and innovation practice work under the guidance of professional teachers, deeply participate in professional construction and disciplinary interaction and exchange activities, and contribute their strength and wisdom to the comprehensive development of the individual and the department. The campaign was strongly supported by Mr. Lui Po-yi, Head of the Department of Marine Environment. The team members come from different grades of environmental majors, mainly freshmen from grade 22 and 23. Senior students from grade 21 play the role of guidance, coordination, organization and experience transfer. The full-time teachers responsible for the leadership are Ding Yi, secretary of the Party Branch of Marine Environment Students, and Liu Xingpo, secretary of the Party branch of Marine Environment Teaching staff. The members of the ecological study Club organized and led by Teacher Liu have also become one of the backbone forces for the follow-up work of the team, and have played a good demonstration significance and role in the study of ecological civilization ideology, propaganda and research practice. In the next phase of the plan, we will also invite members of the key scientific research team of the department and teachers who have been engaged in the practice guidance of science and innovation for a long time to impart knowledge and answer questions to the team members, improve the practical ability of science and innovation competition, expand research and practice ideas and methods, and give full play to the joint learning function of faculty members and student party members. Drive the professional class collective and student association organizations to thrive and flourish!
Mr. Ding explained in detail the main research content, work sequence, personnel function division and time schedule of the next team, including: (1) Establish a Marine Ecological Civilization Thought Student propaganda group, strengthen the publicity of Marine resources, Marine economy, Marine ecological environment protection and restoration significance, and improve the attention and participation of teachers and students in Marine environmental protection by carrying out environmental protection publicity activities, issuing environmental protection declaration tweets, organizing visits to coastal production, university and research bases and other measures; (2) Establish the Marine Ecological Civilization Student Research Practice Group, focusing on promoting the investigation of coastal ecological civilization construction and the investigation of the construction of ecological civilization ideological and political courses in colleges and universities. Through the integration of production and education in enterprises and institutions to carry out practical research, visit the innovation industry information base, in-depth grass-roots line to listen to the opinions of the masses, grasp the direction of learning and work, clear reform and innovation tasks, accelerate the pace of professional learning and output, to do in the real, walk in the forefront doers and leading geese spirit, to achieve the grand cause of the new era and strive to move forward.
Mr. Ding told everyone: I hope students with professional thinking and questions to carry out effective, goals and significance of practical research, research practice to learn the good methods, new ideas and new technology to share with the students around, to help everyone to broaden the professional learning ideas and methods. At the same time, according to the needs of the industry and the key issues in the field, we carry out extensive and in-depth discussions and exchanges with professional teachers, do hot and cutting-edge research on hot issues, solve the professional and technical problems urgently needed by the country, the industry and the society, so that the knowledge can be truly applied to solve the practical problems of people's livelihood, and exert the goal and significance of applying what we have learned. It further demonstrates the important role played by high-level maritime universities in serving the construction of shipping, logistics and Marine fields.
