In order to build a two-way communication platform between graduates and employers, and promote high-quality employment for graduates of 2024. The College of Marine Science and Engineering, the School of Foreign Languages, the Xu Beihong School of Art and the School of Marxism held a joint job fair for the Class of 2024 graduates at the library on April 17.
Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, and all counselors participated in the job fair, and communicated with the participating units and students, listened to the recruitment needs of the employers, salaries and opinions and suggestions on the talent training of our school, and asked about the employment intention and job search progress of the graduates.
The atmosphere at the job fair was warm and crowded. According to their own job search goals and employment needs, participants will actively communicate with employers and send personal resumes; The employer conducted an interview at the job fair and answered questions about the students' concerns.
The students attending the conference said that the job fair provided many professional jobs. Through zero-distance and face-to-face communication with employers, students learned about different corporate cultures and recruitment needs, and also gained valuable and real employment guidance and job search experience.
The job fair fully tapped alumni and social resources, invited 57 employers such as shipping, port and navigation, safety, environment, materials, design, English, etc., to participate in the job fair, providing more than 500 jobs. The job fair was successfully held with the strong support of employers and the enthusiastic participation of students, which not only provided valuable employment opportunities for students, but also demonstrated the achievements of the college in talent training and employment services. I believe that with the joint efforts of the college and employers, more and more graduates will bloom more brilliant in the industry field.
