In order to further promote the construction of the school's academic style, help the students of Grade 2021 to complete their graduation projects with high quality, and effectively improve the comprehensive ability of graduates, on the evening of September 22, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering Grade 2021 held a late name activity with the theme of Building Dreams with Ingenuity, setting Sail after graduation in the Bangjian Lecture Hall. The lecture was given by the part-time staff counselor Ding Yi and counselor Peng Yujie.
At the beginning of the activity, Ms. Ding Yi explained the overall process of graduation thesis design in detail, including the principle of topic selection, proposal report writing, mid-term inspection, thesis writing standards, defense preparation and other key nodes. He especially stressed the importance of communication with tutors, encouraging students to play the enthusiasm and initiative of learning, more communication, more exchanges, and improve the quality of papers. Subsequently, Ms. Peng Yujie led the study of the Charter of Shanghai Maritime University, encouraging everyone to stay true to their original intentions and forge ahead.
This late registration activity helps students to fully understand the requirements and importance of graduation design, and makes clear the time node, standard requirements and follow-up process of graduation design. Through the careful guidance of our teachers, we believe that students will have more confidence and motivation to complete high-quality graduation projects and lay a solid foundation for their future.
